EV Diamond Tools (“we”, “us”), a business registered in Ontario, Canada, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It follows the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • Contact and visit requests: the name or shop name, phone number, tools needed and message you enter in the contact form.
  • Tool lists: the list you build is kept only in your own browser. It reaches us only if you choose to send it by text or email, and then we receive what you send.
  • Calls, texts and emails: your phone number or email address and what you tell us, including a shop address if you ask us to deliver or ship an order.

We do not ask for, or store, payment card details through this website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your request, answer questions, and quote pricing and availability.
  • To arrange a shop visit, delivery or shipping, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you promotional messages unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the business, and only as needed:

  • Netlify, which hosts this website and stores contact-form messages.
  • Google (Gmail), for email.
  • Shipping carriers, who receive the delivery name and address when an order is shipped.

Some of these providers may store information on servers outside Canada, such as in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not show ads. Your tool list is saved in your browser’s own storage on your device so it is still there when you come back; you can clear it at any time by removing the items or clearing your browser data.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements, then delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (except records we must keep by law). Email evdiamondtools@gmail.com or call (647) 227-3380, and we will respond within 30 days.

If you have a concern we can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

This website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure.
